I was sent this primer from Youthful Trends and Greensations and I am very grateful to have been given the opportunity to test this product out and review it. According to the website, it is the world's first caffeinated primer with all natural ingredients. It also:
- is water based spray dries evenly while hydrating skin and tightening lines
- helps pores breathe and keeps makeup looking beautiful all day long
- reduces facial sweating and protects skin from UV damage
- works for all skin types and colors, as well as all types of makeup including mineral powders, creams and liquids
Ingredients Include
Purified Water, Caffeine, Cucumber, Green Tea, Maitake Mushroom, Cats Claw, Sage, Rosemary, Vegetable Glycerine, Witch Hazel, Ascorbic Acid, Alpha Lipoic Acid, Potassium Sorbate
Instructions for Use
Shake well. Spray on face before applying makeup foundation. Allow to dry naturally or gently pat dry. Can also apply at night after removing makeup for added skin protection and rejuvenation. Can be used with any powder or liquid makeup regimen.
MY TAKE: Once I saw the word 'caffeinated' it sold me. I wanted to try this product out right away. It is perfect because it is ridiculously hot and humid after the rainy days here in sunny Florida. I tried it for a few days and I have to say I actually like it a lot. When you spray it on your face I do instantly recongnize the smell of one of the ingredients...cucumbers. It is a fresh and clean smell. You let it dry and pat it dry and then go ahead and apply your makeup. None of my makeup smeared, with the weahter here always in the mid to upper 90's or more it's ridiculous to even think about putting on a face full of makeup because when you head outdoors it will melt off!
It did reduce my sweating and kept my makeup in place. This bottle is said to last awhile because you don't need a lot of it. I would recommend this product.

My favorite step in my make regimen has to be learning about my skin (trial&error). I thought when I first started makeup all I had to do was go out and buy some makeup that match my skin tone or if someone was using it, it automatically worked for me. Oh how I was wrong lol.Right now I love trying to see what work best for me with EVERYTHING, I can't just pick one.
